The reason Mossop looked lost was because he has not been opportubities when it was prudent and wise to do so. There have been several games when he could have been gaining 20 minutes here and there. Instead he was thrown in at the deep end. To be fair good in parts, bad in others.

I have always emphasised planned introduction of juniors.

Oddly it works elsewhere and across in the NRL too.

I am also a realist and understand as the top 2 SL clubs do that bringing through your own young players is an ECONOMIC NECESSITY and the only way to create a squad of any depth in a salary cap environmemnt.

What would you do DOD, please enlighten us all??

I'd probably play the kids thru' the season. They have been lots given the opportunity this year and most have failed to grasp it. Is this Nobby's fault? Or are they the usual overhyped Wigan mediocrity of recent years ala Hock?

Not very sensible IMO. Youngsters need the guiding influence of outstanding experienced first teamers particularly down the spine of the team.
