This shirt really has to one of the worst to date. This year should have been the easiest to sell shirts bearing in mind we're current champions. A simple, traditional choice would have sold fantastically. However the home shirt looks as if the dye has run whereas the away shirt looks like a St Helens shirt. Really disappointing.

The away shirt is not a real shirt, its a mock up. The real away shirt doesn't get released til early next year.

I know its different but i quite like it, the club could not design a shirt for the champions as the shirt is designed in feb/mar so when the season starts the next season shirt has already been decided.

It's not about a specific shirt design for the champions though why they could not design one (alongside a basic design) on the off chance and then only put it into production if we had won I don't know.
It's about more people wanting to buy the shirt this year because we are champions. They could have sold more than a normal year and then some IMO. Now they won't is my guess.

I agree with ainscough's point regarding the shirt... the 2012 shirt will be in some sort of production/design/ideology right now... With regards to the Champions we should have ordered the shirts without the SL logo's on until after the GF where then we can order in the relative number of champions patches to be ironed on in factory or shop free.
Perhaps an iron on patch could have gone under the wigan logo a la England home shirts (retail versions) to distinguish us as champs.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaargh after watching the interview with HH, it keeps getting worse....
The hoops don't go all the way round.... looks rubbish....
The bumfluff marketing about the white lightning stripes making the warriors look 'even bigger than before' sounds like some softy southern Pr company at work.
Don't mind a modern take on tradition, but modern taking a big dump on tradition is not what I was expecting.

Well i took a trip into town today and looked at it for real... It looks so much nicer on the web!! It has a waffle type material and it looks just WRONG... Its pink in places and will take a tough guy to walk around wearing that..
It looks like someone had a major laundry disaster. There is just a model in the store and no stock. Did it all sell out or just samples delivered? Perhaps its not too late to pull out of the order and re think it through...

Just watched the video with H. He looks less tham convinced, and hardly surprising. It looked as though someone had taken a tin of fuschia pink aerosol paint to the 2008 shirt.

Here is something that struck me re the cutting edge blah blah YET NO specialised surface around the area the ball comes into contact with.

a lot of RU shirts have this now, similar to football boots (adi predator) it's sort of a sticky rubber. Irish RU have it on shoulders, chest and armpits.
