Hock is still a Wigan player. The drugs / other nonsense is just that, nonsense.

It has run its course.
It most definitely hasn't.

Heard the truth from a family member of one of the first team squad. If anyone seriously thinks Hock will play for Wigan in the forthcoming season, ask yourself this question. Why did Wigan give his shirt number to Liam Farrell?
If Hock isn't going to play for Wigan this season, why did they give him ANY shirt number?

As long as players like Hock play the game, you will get all kinds of nonsense. More often than not started by rival supporters or newspapers.

Then he must be going somewhere.

If he used those exact words he was telling you he's leaving
got asked is it true hes leaving or been sacked and he said its all bullshit.
he didnt say this but apparently hes getting a testimonial next year.
Fair enough I was only having a bit of a laugh.

If he is getting a testimonial I'd be a bit surprised given his drugs ban. I know the arguments about having paid for his crime etc but I think it will still raise eyebrows if the club awards someone banned for two years with a testimonial and I'd be even more surprised the RFL agreeing to it (which they have to do).

That said if he is granted one then the easiest way to quash rumours without actually commenting on them directly which the club says it never does, is to simply announce the testimonial.

That would kill the rumours stone dead instantly.

It will be Harrison Hansen who gets the testimonial.
