Just been advertised that Ian Lenigan is to be interviewed on Radio Manchester's RL Programme tomorrow evening (I think it starts at 6.00pm, till 8.00).

As journalists go, I'm sure there will be very pointed questions put to him, which would require honest (and very interesting) replies.

As the point made in earlier posts, the truth should out, or legalities would be broken under libel laws - which the players' advisers would be quick to act upon ?

Can't wait for the rugby to start, when the pantomime season will be over ! Good luck Warriors for 2013.

The statement yesterday was worthless. If anybody believes it, more fool them.[/quote].
No-where does the agents' involvement get a mention other than I.L. saying he did speak to him. I thought these agents' primary purpose was to look after players interests, financial or otherwise and consequently, their own. On the face of it, he doesn't seem to have been of much assistance to Gaz through all this. (I'm sure other players who use this same agent will now be looking elsewhere).
When the games top forward is shunted off to the leagues weakest team you would expect a statement jointly from management and agent to explain this, what we get is-"Pick the bones out of that, it's all you're getting", and no info from the agent.

If only it was so simple. The level of betrayal and intimidation directed upon Hock is such that it renders such statements silly.

I think we won't get a true reflection of what is happening unfortunately. If it is Hock then I'm agreed no player is bigger than the club, look at man utd for example with Beckham etc

Regardless of why he has gone the squad in my eyes is further weakened than before I'm expecting a pretty average season

Lol I like the fact you have returned the favour and called me out, good un.

I am strongly opinionated but can also agree when I am wrong or if events happen to change my opinion.

I now have to agree with you but still I wouldn't be as harsh as you about it with multiple thread titles for the same point.

At the time I don't think I was wrong SW is a good coach, last year we had played some of the best rugby we have in decades and we won LLS, not bad for a poor coach.

I have always stated that tactically he needs improvement, problems arose when things went going right on the pitch etc but you can get better tactically hence my backing of him.

Now I can add man management to his list of weaknesses, after recent events and having a good idea of both sides of the coin then I can happily say I agree with you in that he may not be the man for our club and hope IL doesn't offer him a new deal. I don't think IL would sack him and I don't think that would be the best option this late in the day as I think wed struggle to get the right coach and rush to find anyone to fill the gap.

What do you think?

Just hope that we don't get the assistant coach 2nd time around if this is the case.
It would be nice to hear other players views on SW but no doubt we will know soon when the first results begin to come in. Give it the first 5 games and we will have a good idea.

Tbh Harris is actually a good shout, a lot of people credited him for a lot of the good things we did last year.

Time that some people accepted that he's gone and the majority could not care less.
