And what's even worse, is those who do not want to see and think that they know more than the Coaching staff!

And 18 points conceded suggests the logic of a First World War General. "So long as we kill more of theirs than they kill of ours, we will win the war!"ancientnloyal wrote:Sorry but 48 points is the sign of a master technician.

At some point every fan thinks they know more than the coaching staff, including you. There is bound to come a time you will disagree with the coach or others in charge.Whelley Warrior wrote:And what's even worse, is those who do not want to see and think that they more than the Coaching staff!
What are you going to do when that day comes? Slit your wrists for disloyalty?

Quite right !! the win against London was expected and we certainly made hard work of it in the first half. The next two matches will be far more interesting, CAS away is no easy task and with none of are reconised props fit should test Waney and the team, then Catalans at home these two games are good markers to how we are shape'ing up. If we win both these games then I might believe we have a chance in winning something this season, if we lose one then we will be struggling to get into the top four. Lose both then we are going to find this season a long hard grind, though it will not be the end of the world and I am sure the team will improve, I still think we lack something and rely on Sam to much for the spark of something different. Without him in our team we look lost in attack and lack that cutting edgeDaveO wrote:At some point every fan thinks they know more than the coaching staff, including you. Wane has valid excuse in that the injuries are a real problem now. The silver lining is they may all be back when it counts. That is what happened when Bradford won it from 3rd (along with Leeds and Saints picking up injuries just before the play offs).
That said I think you are right about without Sam there is no spark. Shut him down and then what? So the injuries are only part of the story. We have them and it is up to Wane to coach the side accordingly. It may help him. If the side picks itself because there is no one left there is less chance of odd selections occurring.
Four points out of the next six would be a very good return given the injuries. Zero out of six and you can kiss goodbye to the top 4.

I'm sick of reading Wane doesn't have a plan b, c, d ,e or whatever. What team has more than one tactic during a game?
Each team is coached to a specific game plan and the only thing that upsets the best laid plans of the coaches are the unforced errors, the lack of discipline, poor defensive reads and sloppy tackling. No matter how many "plans" Tony Smith or Brian McDermott have, neither can change a thing if his team makes a string of unforced errors etc. The only thing any coach can do differently is make sure his bench covers for any situation and swap those on field players around should they be struggling (for whatever reason) during gameplay

The biggest Room is the Room for improvement.
The best form of defence is attack!!
Out of the black and into the red, remember you don't get anything for two in a bed!!

A part from one or two, there are some decent points made.
Personally I hope we have the team to beat Cas and Cats. Although Cats do have IMO one of the most consistent packs.
Oh, if we do lose both then unfortunately, it seems, we are correct in our thoughts on the head coach.

is the spark, agreed, shame SW has lost the will to fight and keep him (quote from him during the closed season).

Re: Need I say more??
Both Leeds and Wire change tactically during games. Example if we are doing well against Leeds then they start playing dirty to disrupt our flow, wire played it up the middle against Hull and got stuck in when they saw Hull tiring they started to throw it wide, it worked and the score reflected this from 1st to 2nd half.
On Sunday we actually seemed to change the way we played, from trying to play it wide too early and giving away stupid errors and Sam's bin, SW introduced Logan to speed up the play around the ruck as London where holding us down, this worked also and helped to get us on the front foot.

Re: Need I say more??
I'd say we now have too many injuries to right off our chances based on the next three matches. I'd be happy with 2 out of the next 3 especially given we've lost Mossop.

No, I will not sit there and slit my wrists for showing disloyalty. Neither will I have a continual moan about the team or the coach until such time as it warrants it. Which is not at present when we have so many injuries in the forwards and playing games handled by second rate match officials.
