Well what a surprise with that statement, not. It's complete B/S of course. The only reason he is back here is it didn't work out there. He is not coming back to Wigan having seen on the back of success.

This is good fortune (if his shoulders are OK) not some masterstroke of foresight and good planning. IL must think we are all stupid.
Correction, not all, just the ones who are never happy with whoever we sign or whatever sponsor we get.

and will you be happy if after 4 games his shoulder goes again and we have to get rid but we can't get another prop because they are all gone OR if in the Challenge Cup final his shoulder goes after 3 minutes and we have to play with only 16 and we end up losing because of this?, IL might have done a good bit of business with the contract but it still leaves us up shit street when his shoulders do go

Not really, as we have more than adequate cover in the front row if the worse does happen with Mossop and his shoulders go. Or at least that's the short term plan, I do understand the thoughts of some fans that if his shoulders do go he is tied into a 3 year contract.

Sorry meds but that can happen to any player there is more than Mossop with question marks over there fitness. As for your remark regarding getting injured in a final didn't see the same concerns raised when lockers was struggling. he was a shoe in to play in grand final. If he had a broke down we would have been in bigger trouble than we was but it didn't happen so that tends for me to believe in our fitness and backroom staff who know these players inside out.Just sit back and enjoy him ripping it up next season :D

One has to remember that Mossop has a history of putting his body on the line, even when less than fully fit. IIRC, he played virtually a full final, CC after dislocating his shoulder.

Many players have injury issues, it goes with the sport.

There is a get out clause should that happen.

So if that's installed into his contract, what's the issue with some fans? We have the cover in the position if injury did occurr again. IMO another good bit of business by IL.
Excited with the squad for for next season.

There will always be issues with some fans because they are either naturally negative, enjoy being negative, think they know better or can see into the future!!

With some fans they are all of the above rolled into one.

Ok lets put it another way, would an Aussie player with knackered shoulders who had only played 3 games last season be heralded as a great signing or an astute bit of business by IL, or would he be getting nothing but negative comments, so because Moose is an ex player who had a decent season in 2012, it looks to me like there is a massive case of tinted spectacles going around Wigan at the moment
