If 2 defeats leads to "sack the coach" calls, then this win says Wane DOES know what he's doing. Right tactics, good substitutions and superb motivation - all despite a team packed with inexperienced youngsters versus the top team of the past 5 to 10 years.
That means he knew what he was doing when we were knocked out of the Challenge Cup and were thrashed in France.

It is one win after 2 disappointing losses. But what a win.

This is the team all the league should fear. It's just a pity they don't turn up every week.

Still, last year I expected a Leeds win, and on the most immediate form feared the same this time.
So well done Shaun Wane and well done the boys in cherry and white for proving my fears to be misplaced. A great game and brilliant advert for Rugby League. I'm quite hoarse now, but doubtless a drop of Scotch may ease my throat.

I also think it was a great victory, but I will say this,Leeds have some of the best young talent coming through.
In the next few seasons we will have a job to hang on to their shirtails, but we will.

Better than our youngsters? I think it's the other way round.

Sorry forgot I should have my head buried in the sand along with you.
Our away form as been nothing short of shocking/embarrassing so yeah I think a easy Leeds win
I hope you didn't put a bet on it.
Your sly sod on the sly aren't you.
No I didn't. I'll hold my hand up I didn't think we had that in us especially away from home the boys shut me up tonight well done, it was still pretty scrappy and poor in patches especially our lack of control in the tackles leading to offload after offload, but much improved tonight they looked like a team. Still plenty improvement required if we are to win the league and GF though

Yes they did stall and your point is?
That we played fantastically well and won easily, does that help?
Yes it does, it tells me your carer didn't give you a full report during ALL the match!

I'm well aware that we have a long way to go - to be expected with a young team. I just find it sad, occasionally laughable, that some Wigan fans are so intent on knocking Wane that they seem unable to fully enjoy a fantastic victory.

I watched the match in my Wigan shirt, my wife in hers, + another 2 Wigan supporters in a pub packed with Rhinos fans less than 5 miles from Leeds city centre. How could I come away from that and only be bothered about our last 2 defeats?

I am really looking forward to tomorrow's Stains v Wire because this could be the death nell for this Wire team in its present form, the young players coming through seem limited,I may be wrong though.
