Why would the RFU want to protect the players when it's the RFU that's at fault and they're looking to blame anyone bar themselves.TWO EYED WARRIOR wrote:Pity the RFU dont come out and protect there players.
To blame inexperienced players is utter garbage.
If that is the case why have a policy that stops quality exiled players from playing for England. (I use the word quality but that is debatable)
the RFU / press etc are really deluded, for the press to blame league players look at the aussies, HELLO !! Isreal Folau!! basically England have been beaten at there own game by the welsh and taught a lesson against the aussies how that is one players or another sports fault is beyond me.
Out and out scum of the earth the RFU.
Farrell will take a hiding in this whilst Lancaster so called naivety may keep him his job.
The RFU can't blame Burgess as his performances weren't that bad and there's already been people responding to negativity aimed at him, so now the RFU take the route of blaming inexperience in the squad. That is directed towards Burgess and no doubt Farrell. Owen Farrell was the weak link in both Australia's opening tries, yet he gets centre berth ahead of Burgess. That could only happen in union, but they're looking to blame someone so Burgess gets punished as if to say "It's your fault" so we're dropping you. It just happens that England's next game is the easiest so far and players will have chance to shine, all apart from Burgess of course, who just happens not be selected.
