God, just a general observation, Wigan fans get even more hyped about overseas signings than any Wigan 'born' player. Most Wigan fans do not even sonsider say Faz, Micky, George, the Tomkins signing new contracts as big news. So in many respects FPN and any overseas player will get far more support / hype.
Classically, Hull FC everybody get OTT about non Brits; personally I admite Ellis every time I watch him play.

Yes I would believe them he has struggled as did Sam Tomkins yet ST is by far the best player in SL. I agree there is no substitute for pace, Budgie gives us something our current wingers don't. You need a player with the ability to win a game out of nothing and Budgie has proved he has got it. I just hope for his sake he negotiated his salary in $USD given he just got a 10% pay cut before he starts.
