george williams to australia
Re: george williams to australia
We have Woods and Powell.
Ok ok hopefully he’ll stay and work with our new coach if not then let’s hope few and sign a marquee standard half.

The second point you raise..I think any club offered cash would take it in fairnessshaunedwardsfanclub wrote:Most sporting clubs only release contracted players if they have got a replacement or they are receiving a fee that they can't turn down. What category do we fall in?fozzieskem wrote:This rumour does seem to be gathering pace,as always in matters of this I feel if he wants to go then good luck to him,it’s a short career and honestly a move I think could really help him blossom into the player we all hope he can be,something I’m not sure will happen at Wigan or the SL.

He'll be back in the UK inside 2 years.fozzieskem wrote:This rumour does seem to be gathering pace,as always in matters of this I feel if he wants to go then good luck to him,it’s a short career and honestly a move I think could really help him blossom into the player we all hope he can be,something I’m not sure will happen at Wigan or the SL.

Playing for Wire.
He is nothing more atm that a decent SL player. Have no issue with him going as their are better players if IL is willing to spend on in SL.

Who is better than Williams, particularly at that age.thegimble wrote:Mike wrote:He'll be back in the UK inside 2 years.fozzieskem wrote:This rumour does seem to be gathering pace,as always in matters of this I feel if he wants to go then good luck to him,it’s a short career and honestly a move I think could really help him blossom into the player we all hope he can be,something I’m not sure will happen at Wigan or the SL.

Give over, he's the new Jamie Foster, a very good goalkicker, but can't run and can't tackle.Mike wrote:Richardson?

Sorry but age has nothing to do with it. He is not developing as he should. Just remember Kevin Brown played in the world cup and picked before Williams.

Lachlan Lam. PNG international, and recently selected for under 20’s state of origin for Queensland. No straw damn us wrote:Who is better than Williams, particularly at that age.thegimble wrote:Mike wrote: He'll be back in the UK inside 2 years.

And don’t tell me he hasn’t broken into the first team yet, because there isn’t a half back of any age in super league that could command a first team place in the NRL.
If he comes with his father as is rumoured I’d be more than happy.

So would you rather have Kevin Brown? As for Lachlan Lam, have you ever seen him play? I remember him playing in the Aussie schools side over here a few years back and he went o.k. but England beat them. IIRC Jake Shorrocks got the better of Lam.thegimble wrote:Is there an age cap now.No straw damn us wrote:Who is better than Williams, particularly at that age.thegimble wrote:
