Re: KPP
From a squad that seemed to have too many backrowers to keep everybody happy this season we could be looking a bit light in the backrow next season. I'm sure Willie Isa will be pleased to be indispensable again. KPP also offers great cover at centre. There's no way that some 'compensation' from Newcastle will be worth the loss. Getting him to see out his contract is the best deal for the club. He understands the situation and will give us 100% next season.

They are both coming in 2024,” said Steve Parr, who joined Newcastle after two decades at the Cowboys.
“Our recruitment chief Clint Zammit has an enormous wrap on Pearce-Paul and Pryce.
“One (Pryce) is a playmaker and the other one (Pearce-Paul) is a gun in the back row so we’re looking forward to their arrival.
Re: KPP
Strange to confirm a 2024 signing now…. Bearing in mind you cant talk to players officially or have them sign contracts if they have more than 6 months left on their current deal…. Not even pre contracts are in play at this point. At best its all verbal gentleman's agreements if it is indeed starting in 2024keptinthedarkfans wrote: ↑Thu Aug 11, 2022 2:51 pmThey are both coming in 2024,” said Steve Parr, who joined Newcastle after two decades at the Cowboys.

Re: KPP
Then why would the club (Newcastle) announce it .if they hadn't signed. Think there a bit more professional than that. Wigan for many years have been well behind the ball when it comes to departure.
