Not a single "big name" in world rugby will play a utility role unless they are completely finished & wanting one last contract. In that case, they probably have Wire on speed dial.

You would hope that any big name player that we are going all out for would be playing in the WC.

The safest bet would be Luke Thompson based on Dan's information about him being a 2023 priority in the past & the fact that a current player that Dan has connections to -- realistically likely to be English -- is saying they know them.

Another layer would be to look at Wigan's signings under Peet. His main ones have been proven but young players with squad fillers being more experienced players so I would expect that trend to continue. Any 30+ year old NRL veteran looking for 6 figures doesn't seem too logical.

I've heard a rumour it could be jake connor,hull are in financial problems and we may get him on the cheap
