When he retired before the Salford match, most of us were downbeat, coining him a modern-day legend for Rugby League.

Now, he's returned!!! He truly is a legend! Just glad to see you back in the squad Kris, get fit soon and cant wait to see you on the hallowed wigan turf!!

Im soo excited too i've just changed my bedsheets! I couldnt help myself.

seriously though, hen he retired we had a big thread on here about his retirement and it was awesome at the response of rugby league fans not only from wigan but around the world paying a 'tribute' to the great man...

now... i am just glad we have the remaining link to the 'glory days' back...

kris may not be match fit, or wont be at his best, but he has definately raised spiritis in wigan today! and for the rest of the season also.

Well boys and girls Rads as come back in our darkest hour .Well done to Rads , but he should not take the place of young Chris Ashton who is definatley a star in the making.

Andy Farrel as far as i know as not played a full game of rugby union yet and their season is over , come on Andy tell the RFU that you also want to go back to Wigan to help us out, wonder if they would let him ( i doubt it very much) but it is an interesting thought

Please dont mention Farrell in the same breath as Rads!!! One of them has been loyal to the end, and then back again. The other took the money and RAN, (for the "new challenge" ofcourse !!)

Why does he have to play for free? How can we be at our salary cap limit yet still be making bids for the likes of PJ?
What if a star player with a huge salary is injured and can not play for may be 7 months of the season. It could be possible to get round the salary cap if a whisper comes in the ear " Why don't you retire" If your injury heals you can always come back. By the way you have been such a wonderful servent to the club we are going to give you a present. Sorry we can't pay you your salary but if you count up all the pennies in your present it just might add up to what you would of been paid if you were a paid player. By the way think on what the value of this present is and if you do decide to come back I think it would be a wonderful gesture if you said you will play for free. Just a story mind you its all fiction based on ifs and buts.
Go Rads Go

I would not have been able to. My boss would have said "I don't care how much they are paying you, you have two years to run on your contract here so you are going nowhere."
