Maybe set a concrete date in the next few weeks, some people may need to book time off work. I should be ok and the MMagic weekend is definately out for 80% of those willing to do the walk.
Ok after looking at the fixture list What do you all think about Friday 23rd or Saturday 24th of MAY?

This is a holiday wk-end for most i think, well it is in Scotland  But also we dont have a game till the sunday which is away to Castleford.

Hope this is ok with the majority then people can start organising Days of work Travel & accomodation arrangement and so on

Could i ask if only those taking part could post below that way i can take note of names & work out number.

Cheers all

Hello trotski,
Count me in please, the 24th May sounds good.
I think you have my e-mail address in any case, looking forward to more info. regarding sponsor forms, MND leaflets etc. (my wife's cousin died of the same terrible disease a few years back now), still a disease not many people are aware of.
Thanks

Yes i do have your e-mail address greg thanks mate.
What i really need is more info from the mike gregor trust and official sponsor form so that it can all be official and above board. You know how some people can get over tiny details.

Will defenately ask you near the time to help get the event more publicity. There was a nice interview in the glaswegian free newspaper by 2 ex league player who now play for Glasgow Warriors one of which was Heffin O'Hare both said great things about Mike too

Ok you lot just of the phone with one of the directors of the Mike Gregory Trust. A nice chap called Phil Clark.

I have told him of the plans for the walk & let him know its from all at this great website.

I have e-mailed him the details asking for an official letter saying that we are doing this for the trust & for a sponsor form.

Hopefully he will e-mail me them & i can forward them on to all who are taking part.

Now what i need is to set a defenite DATE!

I know its Mr Binders 40th on last wk-end in May BUT it is prob the best time of year weather wise and fixture wise for all. So please let me know who is taking part and what date you think would be best.

regards gregor macmillan (idiot co-ordinator):conf:
