Pretty much confirms what DaveO said then!
I find the idea of linking a contract extension to one match even though it is the CC final very odd. What if we lose? He won't get one so is being punished?

Supposed to be absolutely chucking it down isn't it.

Never been to a Wembley final since 1984 in bad weather.

No idea how will get them to play in these conditions. Try and beat Hull in a forward battle?

Have all the doubters congratulated wigan and wane on here for a great win?

Tactically spot on from wane. Shows we have got a plan B and we executed it well on the day.

Not a hero just a CC winning Coach and if I remember correctly he won the LLS last year and recieved no credit. This year he has not played players when injured as much and rested others at times, ultimately sacrificing the LLS to win the CC and maybe, a big maybe but the GF!

Ha come on pal. Fairs fair.

Saturday made those last few weeks all worth it. I, as the rest of us were gutted walking away from the cas, saints, hudds games but id of taken those defeats all day long if it guaranteed a wembley win.

IMO we beat hull at their own game on Saturday, very impressive.

Looking forward to the play offs now

......but no-one has given a thought or mention of the part Iestyn Harris played in this achievement and it will have been considerable. He seems to be the forgotten man, if it had been Deacon or Rads they'd have had as much publicity as Wane is getting. I know a lot of us didn't like the idea of him at the club in the first place but he's got stuck in and he must deserve a mention after a C.C. win.
