What about when he got himself banned for the playoffs by needlessly belting Anthony Laffranchi right in front of the officials? Not saying this on it's own prevented us from reaching the GF that year but it didn't help the Wigan cause.

MM is a good un, no doubt but he can improve his game by controlling the old red mist and crisper passing.

Interesting you should mention the LaFranchi incident, which was indeed a shocker. That was September 2012 and since then, until this month, he hadn't even been cited. Perhaps he is working on his game and we just haven't been paying attention?

Yes and he's done really well. He is now, imo a more rounded player as long as he keeps his dark side in check.

Mickey Mac is class and an enforcer, I would take the odd suspension he gets and odd penalty he gives away because of the massive amount he brings to the team. Anyone who thinks he's too aggressive should watch tiddley winks . There is a difference between MM and westwood that being westwood is a cheap shot sh#$house and MM being a aggressive committed player who has helped us win more than he has lost us.

Clubb looks to be settling in nicely. It would appear better coaching and probably better facilities is bringing out the best in him and he's rising to it. Certainly doesn't take a backward step, which given his size you wouldn't expect.

The problem with Micky Mac is that he is one of those players who is a marked man with some officials and the slightest thing he does leads to special attention from both officials and opposing supporters.

I thought this post was about our great win against Wire, bit shocked it is all about Micky Mac, I believe there was only one person who should go before the officials is BULLY BOY WESTWOOD. My god he got away with murder, his first tackle was a cheap shot again , a fist into the face again. Of course Stevo thought it was just going in hard ,his shoulder charge should have been seen and delt with. Tony Smith thought he was his best player !!! That sums up what type of coach he is, of course if it had been MM who did these things he would not have lasted the game out,but it was not him so it was all acceptable talk about double standards

The RFL will need to change the rules. If they do, we may see the emergence of Powell, Williams or Hampshire as our bench hooker on a permanent basis. Games in the NRL are so much better than what is served up here!

I would really like to see Hampshire on the bench. Logan is far better starting but he is not an impact 9. Hampshire coming on for short spells at 9 offers superb impact. Whatsmore he covers numerous positions.

What is the situation with Hampshire at the moment? Why isn't he in the squad, is he injured?
