There's a difference between living in the past and wanting some of that past success to return. It's no more living in the past than is going on about the past month's poor performances.

See the pattern here people can be good in more than 1 sport.

I try to reply to question and also try to pose some questions and I also try to lighten the mood with a little humour. I'm sorry if you find this offensive

I would like a recognised senior coach at the club with a traceable record of achievement. Ideally this would not be Millward but he does fit my crieria.

Absolutely agree.The past however should involve coaching top grade RL to meet the above specification of what I regard to be a suitable candidate to fulfil the coaching job at Wigan.

The RU is litteed with coaches from a league background. There are no former top RU coaches in league.
Why on earth do you want to risk the coaches job to an untried (league) union coach? I fail to see the logic.
I wish Shaun Edwards all the success in the world as a unon coach, because his league coaching career never started.
