I'm on about good rugby and lack of basic mistakes.
I myself didn't expect a win but sometimes you have to play a bit of rugby.
We never bombed russell(who's a nightmare under the high ball)
We never tried a chip n chase( wire were charging our defence all game)
We never tried a miss ot pass once( all game)
Just seen wane's interview and I'm wondering where his positives are coming from
I have already said we played awful and maybe that's because some of the players simply aren't good enough and not just about poor coaching!
So subbing by the clock and not taking players off who are playing garbage IS good coaching?
Deciding Powell is our hooker for 80 minute is good coaching? Going into a competition with inexperienced players in key position is good coaching? He did the same last season in the centres. We had three, one injured and he ended up with Bateman and Gildart playing there out of necessity.
It's as clear as day the current team can't execute the gameplan but if that is so, it is no use sitting back and saying "look, its the players!" If you are the coach you need to recognise this and change things. Wane can't or won't and DOES blame poor execution all the time.
When did I say anything about good coaching?
I said maybe some of the players aren't good enough and it's not ALL about poor coaching meaning it's a combination of the 2!!
Please read things carefully DaveO!!

Of course it's poor coaching he picks the bl**dy players if they are not good enough should not be playing. Just been to my last away game had enough this season and to top it all some b*st*rd keyed my car.I have to admire your blind faith.

The only things ARE good are young players coming through, but would be even better with better experience and leadership. Ship Wane and Smith out, few others as well. If we have a kicking game it would help to ease the pressure on younger players. There is a lot hanging on SAM to be in top form, hoping he can produce! From doing the double we have went in recline instead we should establish as the team to beat. No spine. No shape or leadership never mind the skill factor to form a spine throughout the team. Too often we can't the punch the ball over the line. Are we playing rugby? We are out of rugby shape, nothing to do with injuries, or illnesses it time to man up and play Wigan with power, skill, and flair. JB,DOM,OLLIE AND GW is our future please give them the guidance and experience for their futures and Wigan's. Wigan is still the No.1 team in rugby league.

Clearly you are blind full stop, was it not you that keyed your own car? I said it's not 'just about poor coaching', meaning poor coaching is part of it along with players that aren't good enough, is that really that difficult to follow?

Be CAREFULL. Do not get personal. I have an opinion if you don't like it don't reply to my post. But don't insult me.

That comment about the car is in very poor taste TBW. :eusa9:
If the players aren't good enough why did Wane put them in the squad?
Isn't it obvious he has his favourites like Powell and basically any player he signed? Regardless of ability.
Monie was never close to players. Wane clearly is and it's a bad thing. He is not detached enough and so in my opinion makes poor choices.
The fact some of the players aren't good enough doesn't exonerate him from the charge of bad coaching when it was him who signed them or decide to go with them when they aren't ready and keeps picking them regardless.

Shaun Wane says "it's not tough to take, they were the better team"
Actually it is tough to take, being thrashed by a poor Warrington side is tough to take. Was I stressed at Wakefield, yes. I was even if he wasn't.
He needs to get upset and do something about it. Ok we have men missing, but it doesn't mean you can't have a plan with what you have available.
If he's not bothered then let me know and I can save myself a lot of money every week.

It does if your name is Wane!
He is clearly waiting for the first teamers out to come back so the one and only way we play will suddenly magically work.

Great quote from Faz;
Yeah he’s really not changed at all, he still coaches in the exact same way as he did back then. His thoughts on the game are exactly the same.
