I totally agree pity governments after Blair's continued the same policy. You know wanted to bomb Libya and Syria. You can not brush one without the others.

After all Blair was a totally idiot but Cameron continued his policy as did Brown and now May in the middle east, just shows how little Tories learnt whilst in power.

Should be a new law if a PM wants a War then their entire family goes in the first tank.

very poorly yes as the "War" (removal of a anti west government) was voted for in parliament with most of the tory mps for it..... the currently Labour Leader being one of the few voting against.. the joke being that you trying to put forward a negative view of labour by referencing New Labour (as it was known) which in Thatchers own words was one of her greatest achievements.

and if we look at May, she voted against going to war but then for the actually act that sent us in (to remove WMD)
can't even make her mind up then

id have to know what old tories where like to reply to that , i'm one of the unlucky younger people who has only experienced the end of "new labour" and coalition /tory govs since, hence why i am a labour voter

I'd say more compassion than a smile.

Most people never think of the ramifications of their vote until it's too late, and then they go and repeat the process next time!

My sister in law once said she was voting for John Major because he was "a strong leader". When stopped laughing and I said but what about all the policies that were bad for her and her family the Tories would enact, she obviously had not given it a thought.

As to selling council houses local authorities have always been able to sell council houses so the guy in your local doesn't need to vote Tory because he bought his. When Thatcher started pushing it, it wasn't that popular at the time because interests rates were high and due to a housing price crash there was a lot of negative equity about.

One of the side effects is "right to buy to buy to let". 36% of the council homes sold in London (52,000 homes) are being let out by councils from private landlords. All this policy has done is increase the housing benefit bill. Such is the stupidity of your average "let the markets rule" Tory.

Looks like the Tories arent going to bother with anything other than brexit with the simple attack of if its not us round the table the u.k will get shafted.

The sad thing is some people will vote again simply on one issue.
