Is that same harvie hill who cant get on when in team and down to 12men. Seems peet disagrees.
Why pick him on the bench? seems perverse to me - unless Peet doesn't pick the team?
Exactly the same as Paul Wellens did v Leigh in their semi final.
Paul Wellens could not pick Hill, he plays for Wigan
Serious answer, both coaches lost their match.

Be great to have SP back - it means all the threads on here will become "interesting" again . . . or not

Perhaps all this has been said about Liam Byrne due to the criticism on here. If Havard is to return this weekend then our four props could be Dupree, Ellis, Hill & Mago. If Havard isn't quite ready then KPP could be used as a prop with Nsemba and Shorrocks available.
HKR say they are giving six players their debuts so MP will have weighed his options in view of that.

Well it hopefully appeases the Byrne flak for a while - he’s a cracking prospect and looking forward to seeing him back out there!

The young halfback HKR have brought in Cesar Rouge is a superb player. I saw him a few years back play for France v England at academy level and he was the best the player on the field for either team. I think he spent a year or so with one of the Aussie clubs, maybe Melbourne.

Just want to put it out there especially for people who didn't go on Friday, I personally thought Byrne had a much better game. He hit it up a lot harder and had a bit more about him in defence. Hopefully this is the start of an upward curve for him. Was nice to see him with his child on the pitch after the game too

He’s been carrying on playing with pain killing injections for the last couple of months as he has been our only prop who hasn’t been injured!

The break he had has worked wonders 😊

Thought that for a while Josie.
Cooper, Havard and Ellis our other three starting props have either been injured, suspended or both recently so Liam was putting his hand up to play when he shouldn't have been.

Hopefully with Ellis back next week plus Dupree it will help Liam retain Friday night's performance.

I see Byrne was poor again?🤣
