Is Matty Peet having a break on the Costa Bridlington. Sent Harry Smith out to Wigantv to explain the poor performance for the first 65 minutes on Saturday, surely he isn't hiding away?

Poor game from a lot of people.
That said, if ever there was a game to have this kind of result against, it was that one.
Hopefully it removed any the complacency that we may have had out of our system and will allow us to concentrate on Warrington (which is a vastly more important game for many reasons).

Maybe it's MP's way of making sure that Harry Smith focuses on some of his poor decision-making during the game. Smith has played well this season but maybe the extra responsibility to make things happen without French & Field got to him in this one.
I think we've all been waiting for the WCC and Challenge Cup effect to hit us - maybe this was it! Sam Eseh seemed to have a good game for Leeds against Hull KR so maybe it's time to freshen up with more game time for Byrne, Hill, Eseh, Walters and Cooper if he can overcome his HIA issues - not all at once of course but over the next few weeks.

Didn’t think there was anything in it at the game & definitely wasn’t a ‘proper tip tackle’ when I watched it back, just that the Hull player landed awkwardly IMO
With the state of the refereeing and disciplinary panel at the moment, any lifting of the legs is a stupid thing to do, this is more inexecusable than a non-deliberate high tackle.
He lifted one leg.
Looks like Dupree has escaped any ban or fine, makes a change.

Must be on a good wage to go to Bridlington, have you seen the price of rooms in the Premier inn

Just because he wasn’t interviewed on
Wigan TV immediately after the game means nothing!

I just watched the full game, found it an interesting watch actually, having already read all the comments about it. A few random thoughts: the drop-out from Smith in the first that won us back possession should have a pen in front of the posts; not for the first time, he kicked from well in the field of play. In fact, it's fair to say he had a bit of a stinker, with the proportion of bad outweighing the good. Even super reliables like Marshall and Wardle made a few bad errors, although they were two of our better performers. Same with Farrimond; they ran at him a lot, and he had to do a lot of tackling, and unsurprisingly, not always successfully. But the lad is a real talent, once again he showed how he can step through defences. O'Neil looked well off the pace too. I'm sure we can bounce back against Wire; we need to. I wasn't surprised they beat Saints; I think they are a better side.

Hello all,
Wigan Fan long time here just joined ntmu all,
Watched the replay tonight as missed it live. With all the comments on here I don’t think we were terrible. Too many knock ons and bad decisions by Smith, but I was in placebo until 60 mins where Wigan picked it up. With all that has been said on here about Eckersley, I reckon he had a solid game and is still the best choice for fullback until Jai is back, then we really have options. Wardle as well, just wow, what a world class centre. We need to really look after him so the Aussies don’t pinch him. Best centre in SL by far. Well pick it up, different story next week!
Welcome to the site & hopefully more posts

Many thanks, appreciated.
