Great second half performance. Thought Miski had a good strong game last night. Let's hope we get a few more of those over the coming weeks. Not sure about Byrne. Didn't think he added anything when he was on the pitch.
Annoying that even when Magical Mikey Golden Balls Lewis isn't even playing, it's still all about him. Including an embarrassing interview at half time where he was totally out of his comfort zone.
This result is massive and sets us up nicely for next week.

I will credit Lewis for at least looking embarrassed every time the sky cameras showed him on the screen Jesus I know craven park is a dump but find something else to fill the time in

I thought Sam Walters was immense tonight. His work rate sometimes goes unnoticed. The boys were superb tonight, full of determination to win this game.

Walters is definitely one of our best forwards this season, playing prop gets him more involved in the middle of the field.
He's now showing the form that I expected last season.

His injury did him no favours last season he always seemed to be playing catch up didn’t he but this season his form warrants a place every week

A bit strange with Byrne. Not gonna lie im not his biggest fan and he really didnt seem interested to me.He was delaying getting back onside and seemed to be standing were he wouldnt receive the ball for a hit up.I wondered if he was injured then noticed him sprinting up and down the sideline after he was substituted.Odd one but i really think we have better prop options surely

It’s almost as if Byrne is saving himself for next season in case he’s not going to be at Wigan (insert dramatic music here)

First thing - I'm as vocal as anyone about Smith (the ref, that is) and his lack of quality but he was the same for both teams last night. He was lucky that his video ref was top-notch.
As for the match - a bit like Ali in Zaire in 1975. We were battered and second-best for 60 minutes but it then became apparent that HKR had blown themselves out and were simply gassed. By the end. 4 HKR players were tackling Nsemba and he was still walking forwards making yards.
Nice to see players having not great games (Smith, French, Field) still suddenly producing bits of magic to create tries.
Wardle was the perfect choice for MON, not just for that sizzling try but his defence, including at least one try-saver.
Did anyone else get the feeling that the HKR game plan was to try and wind up Wigan with lots of verbals, niggles and whingeing to the referee? If so, I reckon it backfired because it meant that they were more worried about us than they were confident in their own game. Lot of players embarrassed themselves, especially Litten who was petulant all night. Also, Hadley with his physical attempts (and maybe verbal, as well) to try and intimidate Junior.
Nice to see Willie Peters put back in his box. He's produced a good side and seems a good coach but he got it very wrong last night.

What a privilege it is to watch our two Aussie Superstars: Field and French!
We have a rubbish first half, then these two do their magic.
Can't wait for the Saints game.
I thought Miski had a great game tonight.
When you stand back, we have a very good team who can only improve.
So, look out the rest of Super League, the Champions are back!!!

These two? It was an amazing try but last night was in no way down to the two assume superstars.
