We thought Colbon's try may have been denied for a 2 man steal in the build-up (but agree it was more like it came of the Cats player into Colbon's hands).
But that would have been a penalty to them; he gave a scrum to them didn't he?

True... would have to see it again I think. Did the Sky highlights not cover it? Not seen them yet.

I thought Ganson had a strange game all round last night though. He seemed to let so much go that he would normally stamp on immediately - the lying on from the Catalans was amazing.

He was like that last week apparently in the Warrington vs Leeds game - letting a lot go.

Point on Colbon's 'try'...

knock on? where did that come from????

what a farcical decision that was! The video referee must be disciplined for both poor decisions (cats try was legal)

what a joke that was!

I was shocked that Bosch missed that penalty kick

Having just watched the game from the highlights, I can only assume he cancelled our try after realising he'd got the Catalans disallowed try wrong as well so wanted to balance things up. Both tries looked good to me, definitely no obstruction in Bosc's try and only a Catalans knock-on in Colbon's try, so there must have been something else in his mind. It's not right, but perhaps justice. Although getting the decisions right might well have given one team or the other a chance to try some drop-goals to get a decisive advantage.

Was a great effort from Wigan.

To stay in the game when it looked like Cats were going to control things showed a lot of effort, determination and spirit. The players should get alot of credit for that performance.

Feka showed that he can put in more than 2-3 carries per spell - I hope that sort of effort can be carried obver into the playoff games & Fielden was very strong going forward all night, he is definately getting back into some sort of form - (that was quite a bad spear tackle on him at the end - a couple of inches higher and he would have been in trouble).

nice to see a full length try as well - we can't ahve scored that many over the season..

That was the third one of the game on Fielden, can't believe Ganson didn't do anything about it :conf:

He may not do anything about it at the time, but he (Ganson) could have included it (the spear tackle on Fielden) in his match report.
