But they are incorrect and you are making the same mistake. I stated game plan, not tactics. Wane has a plan and the team (for right or wrong) play to that. Simples. Now things change in game (as they always do then tactics are altered - BUT the game plan pretty much remains the same. You can't start playing "off the cuff" if that is not the teams style - yet you are agreeing with someone else's rubbish that is exactly what they do. No they don't. They move players around to try and make the plans they started with "work".DaveO wrote:That is not correct. As others have pointed out teams do change tactics during games both on attack and defence.butt monkey wrote:I'm sick of reading Wane doesn't have a plan b, c, d ,e or whatever. What team has more than one tactic during a game?
Each team is coached to a specific game plan and the only thing that upsets the best laid plans of the coaches are the unforced errors, the lack of discipline, poor defensive reads and sloppy tackling. No matter how many "plans" Tony Smith or Brian McDermott have, neither can change a thing if his team makes a string of unforced errors etc. The only thing any coach can do differently is make sure his bench covers for any situation and swap those on field players around should they be struggling (for whatever reason) during gameplay
LMAO at people making claims teams change the way they play 2 - 3 - 4 times during every game. They do not - they simply change tactic. It is the "star" players like Sam and Briers and Burrows and Chase etc (and there are not many of them in the game) that bring the individuality (and hence flair) to any team
