Re: Ratchford
I have seen Ratchford a few times on the TV as well as live he i dont know doesnt do it fo rme, surely the point of bringing in players is are they better than whats already available honestly im not so sure he would add a great deal to the team as it stands at the moment.
As for Ben Currie yes he does look something special

Re: Ratchford
Ratchford is a proven SL player with plenty of versatility. Would be a good signing but can only really see centre as an option for a regular position

The best form of defence is attack!!

If we sign Ratchford it will mean that Sarginson is going at the end of this season.butt monkey wrote:Ratchford is a proven SL player with plenty of versatility. Would be a good signing but can only really see centre as an option for a regular position

That is an awful thought ????God wrote:Ratchford will be great at Wigan in the centre and can cover fullback and Stand Off.
I would pull my bollocks out to sign him if he became available.
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Re: Ratchford
I rate him.Hes versatile and can kick goals.Easy choice imo.One thing though. If we are letting Hampshire go to wire for him and bridge, let's first give the lad a go at SO.It will give him the chance to prove himself first. We have to try these things in order to find out for sure
IF YOU STRIKE ME DOWN I WILL BECOME MORE POWERFUL THAN YOU CAN POSSIBLY IMAGINE
Re: Ratchford
Would have him any day of the week over Bridge, however he's been caught out a couple of times recently with his stupid one handed carry.
If we want to lose the ball near our own line, we're already quite strong in this department without bringing in another risk taker.

Re: Ratchford
If the rumours about Rocky leaving are true than I'd be happy to have Ratchford at 6 and George at 7. This would give us a lot more flexibility in attack. We'd also be in a position where we could swap Sam and Ratchford between 1 and 6 to find the best balance. As things stand, Rocky doesn't seem likely to get a game at 6 and my worry is that we lose him and don't sign Ratchford we just get Bridge!
