saints game
Re: saints game
The young lads did themselves proud.
Have to say the props who were playing last night seem more effective than the 1st team props.
Even Mitch Clark looked abit more effective last night as well

Re: saints game
Our best chance at a trophy this year is the CC
Saints are the best team in the comp by a country mile IMO they will win the GF against either us or Wire. Catalans will disappear in the final stretch like they always do and no other team can lay down any form of consistency to challenge.
We have a good shot at the CC, all the teams left are beatable it would be absolutely insane for Lam to risk the first team players in a match against saints which will count for absolutely nothing when the year is done.
If we go on to win the CC which do you think a fans likely to remmeber in 2 years time
Winning the CC
Losing/Beating saints on Tuesday the 29th September

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure

Are they, though? Warrington certainly beg to differ. Last season I would have agreed, this season it looks tighter to me.Wigan_forever1985 wrote: ↑Wed Sep 30, 2020 1:12 pm

let me put it another way;
Saints at their best beat every other team in super league at their best IMO

Saints were consistent under Holbrook, convincing win after win. This season at times they have looked shakey. They’ve lost some power replacing Thompson with Graham. Graham can’t deal with the six again rule change.moto748 wrote: ↑Wed Sep 30, 2020 1:27 pmAre they, though? Warrington certainly beg to differ. The best team in the comp has changed hands a few times now. At the moment you have to say Warrington but wasn’t long ago that they scraped through against Cas.

I think they are the best at the moment. Will they win the GF? I don’t know. Injuries, fatigue and coronavirus are going to play a big part.Wigan_forever1985 wrote: ↑Wed Sep 30, 2020 1:45 pmI think they are yes thats not to say they cant be caught out as Wire provedmoto748 wrote: ↑Wed Sep 30, 2020 1:27 pmAre they, though? I wouldn't write Catalan off. If the travel rules remain the same than they will have about 6 or 7 home games in Perpignan before the end of the regular season, so a top 4 place is not beyond them. It'll be interesting to see how they go today v Leeds, who like us have a much weakened young side playing.

Even though as you rightly say lost some of their power they are still the team to beat, but nowhere near the force they where under HolbrookBig stick wrote: ↑Wed Sep 30, 2020 1:50 pmSaints were consistent under Holbrook, convincing win after win. Re: saints game
I cannot say how good or bad any players were as I switched off after the ridiculous sin-binning of Halsall.
I understand deliberate attacks to the head and accidental contact but you might as well bin every player that touches a head the way this game is going.
A pathetic refereeing decision from a sport seriously losing its marbles/fans/sponsors/money

I'm a better fan than you
Because I don't "Boo"!!!
Yes I bloody know transfer fees do not count on the salary cap for those illiterates that need it explaining to them because they assume everyone is as thick as they are
