Bevan French has the most try assists in the league at the moment.
Never a stand off
Cust to 6, put French back on the wing, drop Miski......

Maybe 2 of them are
Really? Which two?
Teddy and Turbo
They’re all good, walk into most teams.
But I’d say Teddy is the best then I’d have Edwards(who is well underrated I think).
Tommy Turbo I would of said yes but he spends most of his time injured

I think he is one of the most talented & gifted rugby league players I have ever seen. He is an amazing player in any position in that back line!

He’s won me over fair play - not a natural 6 but he’s improving week on week.

Same.
Moving towards traditional 6 and 7 rather than split halves has helped both Smith and French as they know their exact roles rather than trying to do a blend.

Looking better every week is Mr French and I was a doubter . When you think back we've had a few decent stand offs who moved from different positions Loose, Centre or fullback. Andy Farrell, Shaun Edwards, SOL and that Ellery Hanley wasnt too bad. I guess the question is what is a modern stand off ? Good hands , eye for a gap , bit of pace and decent in defence. Not many out there better qualified than Bevan just needs experience learning the smarts.

I wonder if Miski is Convinced ?I bet Bevan French is the best stand off he’s had the pleasure of playing off .
