Fwiw, my view is that players are suffering from mental fatigue. We have 3 games in the first 10 days of August, and 6 in the month. Things could easily get worse.
My solution would be to choose 10 players who have played the longest minutes in the middle. Give them a week off - tell them to go to Spain with their families and forget rugby.

All this, he's (Farrimond) three or four years off... I'm of the view, if you're good enough, you're old enough. There's lads of 18, 19, directing some of the top sides in the NRL around the park.

That is real desperation, hopefully we haven't come to that, yet.

Agreed if he ever gets the ball Farrimond could well be the next big thing he will make mistakes he’s a kid after all but I’d sooner see him as the future rather than a player who really should be the past

We need to stop playing players in the wrong position, get back to basics - high completion rate and improve our defensive line speed. It is so important that we respect, and protect, that invaluable object -the ball.

We have to give Farrimond a proper chance Smith should trust him to do the number 6 job and he's a brilliant goal kicker and is a star of the near future but he's got to be given trust and the ball he can't play if maybe peet doesn't trust him to do the job that's my opinion .
Maybe Smith is following coaching instructions.to do as much workload as possible himself.

.

I’m away at the moment so haven’t had a chance to watch the game, recorded at home but with that result not sure if I’ll bother.
I will say though Walter’s has been a big disappointed so far, for such a unit he’s abit soft. I’ve said before Farrimond needs taking out the firing line as he’s still young and he looks vulnerable in defence, I know that means playing Hampshire but he does have a good amount of experience.
I don’t know how we played but we shouldn’t be getting hammered like that, defence must of been awful. Remember Saints had a lot out last week but they played their hearts out.
