Last heard of he was landlord of a pub at Flamborough Head in North Yorkshire. Flamborough was always one of the Flying Skerrets (to give hime his correct title!) favourite places, indeed if memory serves me right when he got married whilst at Wigan thats where the wedding was held. He was a player that the opposition used to look for every week on the team sheet and then if his name was missing they could heave a great sigh of relief, we could do with a couple of his ilk these days.
