I have to say thats his first bad game in wigan colours, and it was a bad game, he looked bereft of ideas for the most part. Lulu i thought put lot of effort in and was showing some passion, hock again his temperment could of got him and us in trouble but for the main was very strong. Im not gonna read too much into it all in all a poor performance not helped by the referee, i expected more for trent but im not holding him to blame the team in general weren't good enough today.

Totally agree with you, me and my dad both said the same thing LAZY!, they looked like they couldn't be arsed it makes me sick to think of a wigan team that would not raise to the saints.

barret was poor today, but i carn't help but thing we need a player who will lead with raw passion someone like newton to lead from the front,or a farrel to lead the pack becuase i couldn't see anyone leading the team around the pitch.

Not Trent's best game for us. probably couldn't see from early on when that baby elephant Cunningham used his face to lever himself off the ground - when I've got over the initial disappointment I'll have a look at the recording to see what it all looked like through their cameras. Bad day at the office all round and Leeds must be rubbing their hands in glee.
We surely do miss the likes of Farrell and Newton - watching him playing for Bradford last night he looks totally different, maybe wrong but all the grit and determination seems to have gone from him now. Nothing against Micky Higham but I do wish Terry hadn't gone - makes you think that the Millward conspiracy theory to bring Wigan to her knees had some credibility (only joking - but a major, major mistake letting TN go)

Barrett did what he could. Given we spent the majority of the match without the ball and in our own half there is not much any half back can do.

The defensive line was poor due to laziness. Players not getting set correctly and hiding on the wrong side of the POTB. When we did have the ball we did not play a simple enough yardage based game.

i feel sorry for barrett, i bet he wonders what he has come to.

our problem at the moment is attack. we can't attack, the line isn't threatening enough. it's the same text book stuff all the time. 1 man, dummy half scoots. we have nothing creative at the moment and it shwos, we are passing the ball slow and we look clueless near opposition lines.

I tend to agree with that but I also thought Lulu looked the better of the two today. He actually seemed bothered!

The only other player I thought did was Hock.

It wasn't just in defence in attack there was not much enthusiasm either. Our support play was none existent.
