Miss Wigan Warriors

Hi all. Not sure if you have heard of this competition but I thought it would be fun to enter so am 1 of 33 entries in the observer which you can view on the Wigan Observer website. Unfortunately they made my photo like an extreme close up and doesn't look that good! Never mind. Still if anyone can spare 60p or has the Observer from last week I could do with your vote. Text wowarrior, your name & address, vote Gillian Battersby and put No at the end to avoid receiving texts to 81800. Otherwise all entrants were in last weeks observer if you still have one.
I entered cause I love the warriors, have supported them for 20 years, and it would be great to help represent the club. I'm a budding actress stuck in an office job in the week but I work as an entertainer at the weekends and plan on doing more than smiling and waving if they let me. I always fancied being Mrs Max - or maybe we should bring back the pie my friends brother at the time designed, which once walked out on Central Park to the amusement of all who were there!
It would be nice to have support from Warriors fans if you can vote. Could do with something to cheer us up after that wonderful trip to Huddersfield where they couldn't even fit us all in the stand and it was £18.50 to get in! Still, at least they let you take the beers up now to drown the sorrows.
Looking forward to Wembley and hopefully beating those scousers this year! Thanks for reading this and let's look forward to Friday where I will be sat in my usual south stand seat. Also Fri noon is the closing date for votes.
Thanks again!
Gillian
