worrying stories

got to tread carefully here but, has anyone read the articles from down under about Bryan Fletcher? Apparently there was a case a few years ago involving the alleged gang rape of a finnish holiday maker that Fletcher briefly knew. Worrying stuff.

It all seems a loads of b**l S**t to me really, she left the country in a matter of days? Lying b***h...she needs locking up!

The reason this has come up is down to investigations into how the police handled the situation. Fletcher was never a suspect but a witness and it seems the police at the time tried to keep the publicity down.
The fact Fletcher was not a suspect won't stop the Chinese whispers starting and before long he will be seen as a cross between Attila the Hun and Hitler.
This already happened to a degree on rlfans where some people dragged up other past indiscretions of Fletcher implying this (whatever "this" is)was par for the course which is absolutely ridiculous and putting two and two together and getting five.

Fletch must be less than pleased that the story has been reurrected, especially being as the two blokes the investigation is really about cannot be named so as not to interfere with the legalities of the thing.

Agree with you but seeing as it is in papers here and Australia and on the net it will not make any difference other than to stop wild speculation - good idea to stop before folk start making up their own stories maybe.
