Just found these on the wlkepedia website under Stevo. These are some of his popular one liners:

"..he has put his body on the line..."
"..its T-R-Y time, for mine!"
"..this'll be N-O T-R-Y!"
"..it looks like that guy's in Disneyland..."
"..he's got a bit of claret on his nose.."
"..time to play some Rugby League football.."
"..why didn't he go for the one-pointer?"
"..the merry whistle-blower is at it again.."
"..they gotta play better in the second stanza."
"..its 'up-the-jumper' time!"
"..the ball took a wicked bounce!"
"..the supporters are going bananas!"
"..I'll put the house on it... AND the swimming pool... AND the push chair!"
"..and rightly so"
"..It's a knockonathon!"
"..Is he ever!"
"..No doubt about it"

They've missed a few out though!!!! :o :o :o

Momentum rule, sheer brilliance/class/quality/pandemoneum (spelling?).

Any other you can think of that aren't on that list?

stevo comes out with some good ones, but i don't think any are quite as good as ray french. just one that always makes me laugh:

"there it is, the sad site of martin offiah limpnig off, with a broken finger"

also murray walker, former F1 commentator:

"excuse me while i interupt myself"

"if the gloves weren't off, which they were, they deffiantely are now!"

The best one came from Ray French when commentating on a winger making a break(Offiah I think) said " I hope he opens his legs up and shows us what he's got"

Been watching the Nissan Sevens from 1992 (Thanks nitsua!) and the aussie commentators going:

*aussie wigan accent* "and you can hear the terraces of central park going here we go here we go here we go" funny as hell.

Aussie commentator on Offiah: "and here is Offiah, pronounced off-i-ya, but he prefers Off-ay-ya (our pronunciation) as it rhymes with Chariots... [Offiah]"
