Pubs for Grand Final day

Alright, i need some ideas of some good pubs to go to on sat daytime, i am going to manchester for 11.30am, and so need plently of pubs to fill the time!!!!!!!!!!!
Please could you tell me of good pubs in manchester and if there are any near old trafford!!!!!!!!

There's a Wetherspoon in Piccadilly Square, which is good for the tram. At those prices who needs another pub? :-)

There's a few good pubs and places to eat on Deansgate too.

For rugby build-up I'd say the Springbok bar (next to the Wetherspoons off St Annes Square) and the Walkabout down Peter St.

My personal favourite Mcr bar is the Temple of Convenience - a tiny bar in an old public toilet. Its just on Oxford Street - not very rugby, but worth checking out just for the novelty! ALso, the Pevril on the Peak and the Britons Protection deserve special mentions for being excellent pubs.
