According to the Australian, it appears that Matt King will definitely be moving to Super League for next season

it says aus$ 2.2 million over 4 years in the article-that works out at roughly £234,000 a year if my calcs are correct at 1:2.35 rate

that is ridiculous for a winger, and not even the best at that! sounds a bit suspicious to me- which teams have that sort of money and havent got a decent set of wingers already?
NOBLE OUT PLEASE- YOU'VE HAD TIME AND NOW MY PATIENCE HAS RUN OUT!

Most of the time he plays in the centre, where he's regarded as being pretty damn effective.

I don't know whether at that price he'd be worth it in the long run, but he's the sort of signing that puts bums on seats.

Problem is, he will have to play with a greatly reduced contract than he is currently on, and it is stipulated that he cannot play for another NRL side if he was released.

It says in the star today that wigan are leading the chase to sign matt king and bradford are also interested in signing him. Hope we sign him would be a very good player for us but i think he will stay in australia but you never know.

Hope we don't if the amount of money quoted is true! We've made that mistake too often.
