Ganson Off With More Than Just Illness!!!!!!!

Unfortunately, I then went down with what I thought was tonsillitis, which was later diagnosed as glandular fever.
A week later my granddad died and having already lost both my parents it proved to be a testing time for myself, my wife and our young family.
My sympathy goes out to Ganson.
Whether you like him or not, you have got to feel for him, because nobody likes to see anyone go through those circumstances.
It must have been hard refereeing last Friday with that still on his mind.

that and the fact about 10,000 wigan fans would love to give him more than tonsillitus were pain is concerned.
oh, and my sympathies for mr G. tough times are those.

Sorry to hear all that, not a happy time for the guy at all - must have made him feel better though when the whole of the south stand booed him when he came out to warm up

At least he would have felt like things were more back to normal!
We all give him stick but he's a great bloke to talk to and like all the rest has to call things as he sees them at the time, unlike us he doesn't have the benefit of slow mo replays.
