Time to bulk up?

I know that there is a play off between speed and bulk but does anyone out there agree with me that we probably need to bulk the side up a little to be able to handle all sides of the modern game. When you watch the aussie games there may be big 'uns and little 'uns but when you get to their test team all the small ones are missing. Think how good Hock would be at 16 stone rather than 14 stone and I would like Aspinwall who admittedly has been outstanmding all this season to be a bit heavier. Whenever Bulls, Rhinos or the Stains introduce new players they always seem to be big lads.

Yeh, do you remember when we signed Twiggi up??? He was a union lump of lard and he had to lose weight. It's not how much you weigh, but what you do with it.
We don't need bulk, we need time and experience, that's all. Anderson, Ward etc....are not in my image of a Wigan team. I'd sooner have skill.
When Carney was "taken out" last night we seemed to lose it for a while. Had that incident not have happened, I think the outcome of the match may have been different and we would all be saying that bulk doesn't replace speed and skill afterall.

thankfully there are not many teams like bradford (all 18 stone) skill and speed win most games if bradfords forwards don't trample the opposition they don't know what to do its all very well having big forwards so long as they can stay the distance 80 mins is a long time to be running when you are a lard ass!!!
