Don't forget the ban comes into force on Sunday and as such you will not be allowed to light up at any grounds.

Thought the ban was for enclosed spaces? If the stadium does not have a no smoking policy, then you might still be able to smoke at the likes of Belle Vue

Sports stadiums
Does this legislation cover sports stadiums?
Many sports stadiums are already smokefree.
When smokefree legislation comes into force, only parts of stadiums that are enclosed or substantially enclosed will be required to be smokefree.

That's what I thought - so the ban may be open to interpretation.

I will hit anyone in the face who has the need to light up at Wakefield.

I don't smoke, so the ban doesn't really affect me - only the 2nd hand smoke does!
Problems is Ancient, that people ARE under the misapprehension that a complete ban is under force as from tomorrow, when clearly there are discrepancies in the actual application.

Yeh I know. It will be hard to enforce. ive been thinking since my 'die of cancer' post... its harsh yes but the smell of smoke, mixed with alcohol and urine really bring back Central Park (and featherstone) memories as a kid.
