Briscoe?? Hodgson is world class...something you can never call briscoe!

Hodgson is a class fullback and he is also a goal kicker so that would be more back up for Richards.

I'd rather have Briscoe than Brett Hodgeson, Hodgeson is a good player but is getting on abit and is yet another oversea player at Wigan.

Briscoe is a Wigan lad and is capable of filling the full back role at Wigan and would surely cost less on the salary cap.

An Aussie fullback (such as Hodgson) would be using it wisely. FB is one of the most influential positions on the pitch; that's where you need a top-class player.
Briscoe isn't, and never will be, top class.
