i know we are in need of a centre. so why don't we take a clsoer look at this guy? :conf: he's strong, he's quick, he sets up for his winger, he scores trys himself. personally id love to see him at the club. he reminds me of chev walker.

Atkins is very fast, scores tries.
Definitely worth a look at.

He is a good player and he is British........but Noble and Maurice both seem to prefer overseas players rather than British players.

I think Wigan need to be looking at reducing the number of overseas players at Wigan as soon as possible and signing up some of the good young British players before the number of overseas players are reduced.

Well if we sign Walker than Atkins will be a definite no - especially with Goulding coming through

yeah i no i wouldnt sign both of them i would sign oneand then let goulding keep on progresing as he is a very goo player and a good prospect for the future

The Atkins thing doesn't evenq ualify as a rumour does it? I mean there has been no suggestion we are after him form "sources". It was just a bit if wishful thinking by the o/p.

As to Walker well who is going to make way for him if we sign him now? Everyone assumes DV but it could be Goulding's spot on the bench...

For mine Ryan Atkins would be a good signing. He seems strong and fast, with a good offload. He's young and british which is what I think we need.
