Just been on GMR that we are reported to be over the cap by 19%.
If this is the case, it was a good job that the old punishments apply for the breach, or I think this would have meant a 12 point loss

Yeah, but one newspaper hack was happily quoting last Thursday, that Wigan would have a 12 point deduction (how wrong was he now on reflection).ultimate warrior posted:

As answered elsewhere, by other posts, nothing more than fanciful speculation. Wigan would NOT reveal their financial situation to anyone - even less, if there are repercussions surrounding it.

considering wigan are putting so much effort into preparing a defence, if these figure's are correct then they wouldnt have a leg to stand on!like you said butt monkey wigan wouldnt reveal such details as these! be interesting to hear where gmr got this info from??
