Both signings for Salford are hardly the most inspiring, nor are they likely imo, to see much improvement in form either.

Just squad men, signed to replace injured players.

Undoubtedly. But what I want to know is why there isn't a general outcry that Salford are signing players to avoid the drop with complete disregard for the salary cap.

Relegation-threatened Salford have made Warrington winger Richie Barnett their third signing in 24 hours.

Haven't read anything about needing RFL clearance for all these signings...one rule for us and one for the rest?

Do situations like this, confirm that the Salary Cap and entailing controls, are nothing more than a RL device to prevent Wigan from dominating ever again! End of! :(
