Tickets for Wembley

I've just heard that if you log onto the RFL website and attempt to purchase tickets, most of the blocks are now sold out!

I'm presuming and hoping that, should Wigan beat Cats tomorrow, we will receive an allocation of tickets.

As a season ticket holder, and someone who has been to every round of the CC, I'm a bit worried about allocation of these tickets going to "glory hunters" or even season ticket holders who havent attended all the CC games. Surely the fair way of doing it would be first and foremost season ticket holders who have attended all rounds and then season ticket holders who have attended 2 rounds and semi etc etc....

I really dont want to miss out on a ticket. I'm hoping to go anyway, only reason for not booking ticket now is that some friends are only planning going if Wigan get there and we want to all sit together.

Wot are your thoughts on this ?

We have been allocated 10,000 and have around 9,800 season ticket holders so there will be 1 ticket allocated per season ticket.Season ticket holders get the chance to get tickets before they go on general sale. The problem is that there may not be enough for all the season ticket holders to get 1 ticket each by the time the share holders have had their allocation.

Thanks for that! Was beginning to think you needed an initiation ceremony to get any response on here!! Bear with me, I'm new!! Ha ha!

That equation seems like its gonna pose a slight problem to me, providing all the season ticket holders want to go (and they usually do for the big games)

Any suggestions on a solution?

I have not read anywhere, that Share Holders get first allocation!

Which Challenge Cup match were you on about!!

As for the Central Park years at Wembley, Season Tickets holders got their allocation at the same time as Share Holders.

If your friends are not season ticket holders, you'll only be able to get your own from the allocation (unless there are any left over when they go on general sale).
If you want to sit all together you may have to get them from the RFL, but as you say, there's not much choice now where to sit.

Remember queueing in drizzly rain at the dead ends of a weekend morning for challenge cup tickets at central park along the dougie with my mum and sister. One bloke was only wearing a tshirt and had to decide whether or not to sprint into town centre for a jumper... he weakened and lost his place in the queue

all part of it
