Lindsay to stand down?

Not sure if I am seeing things, but I was just looking at the RL news on SportingLife.com when the headline of a story "Lindsay to step down at the end of.." appeared in the news titles - when I clicked on it that's all there was, as if they were still writing the story. It isn't there now - but it makes me wonder if the story is about to break?

I heard this early from a source close to the Club.The only option that he was given was to go at the end of the season. If he had not agreed to go he would have been fired.I suspect he will only see through the question of the appealand then disappear.

I would have only given him the option of going now or be fired.
My source also says that Whelan is actively seeking buyers for the club
