Best GB side from Wigan

Post by Warrior Wills »

I think this is the best GB side from players that I have seen. Sorry, far too young for the Boston's or Mc tigue's..............etc :

1) Kris Radlinski
2) Jason Robinson
3) Gary Conolly
4) Joe Lydon
5) Martin Offiah
6) Shaun Edwards
7) Andy Gragory
8) Kelvin Skerrett
9) Terry Newton
10) Andy Platt
11) Denis Betts
12) Andy Farrell
13) Ellery Hanley

14) Brain Carney
15) Brian Case
16) Andy Goodway
17)Henderson Gill ( Just for the Aussie comentators saying " and he does a bit of a boogie")

God I am bored!!!!!

Bored or not its a very good side and dare I say it better then the one likely to take the pitch tomorrow.

If you replace Radlinski with Hampson, Newton with Martin Dermott (or Nicky Kiss) and Carney with Mark Preston (can't think of anyone else off hand) then you have a set of players who were all of the same generation and could easily have been in an all British Wigan team.

And that would also be better then the current GB set up.
