I hope the new owners (IF it does happen), have the sense to ditch the "Warriors" banner and resort to the famous name under which we always used to play. Rather than the marketing gimmick that was never fully exploited.

To some degeree i agree. In the last 3 years weve been poor and i do think MO and DW need to go.

New focus and drive is needed. We need new players but we need owner that cares. DW has given up in my opinion. No disrespect to the man but he football 1st now and it show.

Yes he payed for Fielden but hes lacked any real focus on us for years.

u can tell his 1st priority is his latics so the best thing 4 us is 2 get a new owner that puts our needs 1st, before anything else

somebody should start an online petition as well as a live one in Wigan town centre/Home games, then send it to the new owners, surely 2 petitions containg 10k+ signatures would go some way to achieving this, there must be somebody dedicated enough to set this up :exc:

It's easy to focus on the bad when things are turbulent off the pitch. I wouldn't say our side is bad per se. Convincing wins against Hull, Leeds (three times), Bradford and a recent good punt at Saints, show that the quality in the side is there. Consistency against 'scruffy' teams and a progressive confidence seem to be our main stumbling blocks.
