Who has David Hodgson upset?

Post by ian.birchall »

Surprised to see that Gleeson who was not in the original squad gets into the test team for saturday in front of DH who was there all the time and was Wigans top try scorer last season. Was he eating his peas off his Knife or some other social faux pas? :exc:

Gleeson played his best game of the season v Australia for the A team but Ellis surely was first choice centre as he has been training with the squad.

With both Connolly and Senior out the centres should be Ellis and Gleeson (WHY is Gilmour there at all?) and Hodgeson should be on the wing in place of Horne.

Horne is a good player but he is not a winger and Hodgeson is a better bet in that slot by a long way.

I'd have Horne on the bench or even try him at stand off to add some missing pace to the half backs - you know the pace that troubled the Aussies against the A team that Waite seems to have forgetten all about.
