Re: Switch to the East
Not worth it IMO, I am migrating back home next season also to the East, I can afford to now, sick of the kids at back (some of them) and sick of turning up early to get my seat behind gerrumonsideman

It is tough. I have always preferred watching from behind the sticks. So I guess I will continue to do so in the South. Having to turn up early can be annoying though sometimes. Although, I guess those turning up later to go in the East get stuck in traffic more.
Those who watch from the touchlines? Is it better to go in the middle where you get to see no tryline close up BUT see more of everything or better to go to the end and at least get a close up of one try line?

Always preferred to be as close to the half-way line as possible. Getting good views all round of the action. Even staying dry with wet/windy weather (you need to be higher up for this though).cpwigan posted:

Good point you make about the JJB. I suppose many new grounds are similar. It is awfully poor when it rains. You need to be something like 25 rows back to avoid it in the South.
