Fixtures look ok, there's no real hard section is there, the toughest it gets is in August with Bradford Away on the Sunday and Saints at home the following Friday, thats the only time we have two top teams in a row (except in the event of cup ties).

Two away games to Broncos too, August and September, more travelling.

The days are a bit of a mixture, some Fridays, some Saturdays, some Sundays and a couple of Mondays. The club never did resolve which day was best, too many people preferred each of the different days, but next year it looks like everyone will be happy with some of the days and everyone will be miserable with some of the days, so that's fair all round I think! I've said all along I prefer Fridays, but that's only because I work some weekends and it's easier for me to get to Wigan after work on Fridays than try to negotiate changing which weekends I work. 6pm Saturday is still the worst time though.

Unforetunately he has to serve his suspension on a competitive game. Which is the opener at Bradford.

Four years running that the previous season's grand finalists have met on the opening day. Coincidence of course! First 4 away games are a bit rough, Bratford, Leeds, Saints and Hull.

Newton gets a ban for a challenge nowhere near as bad as Morley's, and the timing has nothing to do with it because it only happened a minute later.

i read it on bbc text, but could'nt find their source to back it up. rugby league express printed bans can include one pre season friendly so as newton has only a one game ban he can play against bradford
