Yeah GMR reported that he was signing for KR next year. IMO this is not a bad thing, dont think it would have been the best move to bring him back next season.

Dont think Fitzpatrick is the right player for us either, although Im not sure who would be.

I would not be surprised if we wnet for a winger and left Richards at FB. If no decent player is available.

well that has shocked me, after the paul cooke affair i didn't think hull or hull KR would be letting any more players go to their arch rivals. but i was wrong :conf:

i hope richards moves back to the wing as his height is missed there, and the high bomb becomes an invaluable tactic.

i still think we should move for matthew bowen from north queensland cowboys, they are my nrl team but id rather he was at wigan

What a strange turn of events.

I would have expected him to stay put at Hull myself. What this says about Hull I don't know because as far as I can tell he was rated by their fans. First Cooke, now Briscoe.

HKR are not safe yet so again an odd move to make just now.

If Briscoe has an agent I am sure (unless the agent is extremely poor) the agent will have noticed Wigan's lack of a full back so he should have approached Wigan.

This suggests the agent did not do this, in which case he isn't much of an agent or Wigan knocked back the offer.

I am not fussed about Briscoe as a player but in the absence of any other likely full back recruit he would have done just to allow Richards to revert back to the wing.

I hope this signals the fact we have a higher quality full back recruit already lined up. If we do not and are going to stick with Richards at FB then that in itself is a mistake.

Put it this way, despite Briscoe not being brilliant I'd rather have Briscoe at FB and Richards on the wing than go into next season with Richards at FB and Colbon on his wing.

Cockayne has been in and out of the HKR squad this year and i think his contract maybe up at the end of the year
